Miriam A. Ross, Esq. Miriam A. Ross is an attorney, business mediator and community leader with extensive experience in industry, business law and ethics/compliance.  Miriam started her own law firm to provide business-focused legal advice to small and medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs and business owners. Prior to opening her law practice, Miriam was in-house counsel at Dayco Corporation, Textron Inc. and GTECH Corporation.

Seth Handy, Esq., Handy Law, LLC counsels clients on energy, environmental, real estate, commercial and litigation matters.  He supports municipalities, municipal coalitions, developers and contractors in the implementation of energy efficiency programs and the development of renewable energy.  He represented Portsmouth and other parties in the recently decided Riggs case regarding the rate paid for Portsmouth’s wind power.  He has been closely involved in the development of renewable energy legislation and regulatory programs in Rhode Island.

Karina Lutz is a founding member of People’s Power & Light and served as Deputy Director for five years. She has been involved in sustainable energy issues since 1988, when she was managing editor and publisher of Home Energy magazine. She has been the RI Chapter Director of the Sierra Club and the development director of the Northeast sustainable Energy Association.
